Conflict minerals refer to the four major minerals (tin, tantalum,
tungsten, and gold) mined in the Democratic Republic of Congo and its
neighboring countries.
Daeduck Electronics has established a conflict minerals policy to
comply with related laws and fulfill our social
responsibility.
In order to keep conflict minerals associated with armed forces in the
conflict region out of the company’s production supply chain, we provide
necessary support to help clients purchase materials from smelting
factories that are free of conflict. For example, we request our clients
to establish policies and procedures related to conflict minerals,
conduct a status review on the current use of conflict minerals, and
device a contingency plan for risk situations. Daeduck Electronics
will actively participate in the global efforts to ban the use of
conflict minerals together with our partners and customers, thereby
fulfilling our social responsibility to protect human rights in the
Democratic Republic of Congo and its neighboring countries.
